Three Teen Movies... With Different Audiences...?

PROJECT X:

Genre: Comedy/Crime
Target Audience: Mainly for teens (obviously) but is more likely to attract male teenagers because:

- The main characters are teenage boys

- Allowing the male audience to relate to them; wanting to go to the latest parties, lose their virginity etc

- Also features outrages/shocking scenes, bringing in the comedy 

A WALK TO REMEMBER

Genre: Drama/Romance
Target Audience: Teens (duh!), mainly the female audience:

- That's the type of movies girls enjoy watching (though this could be a stereotype... =/)

-It could also attract older audience as they look back at experiencing puppy love

- The female audience may take a liking on the heartthrob Shane West 

NEVER BACK DOWN:

Genre: Action/Drama/Sport

Target Audience: Teenagers... Again. But mainly the male audience because:

- The genre(s) of the film is more popular with the male audience

- The storyline itself is more likely to attract that type of audience
