Holiday Task - Analysis of a teen film

GREASE

I am a sucker for a romantic film and I've probably seen more than is humanly possible. Since I was on holiday I thought what better time to re live the nostalgia and watch the best Teen Romance ever!

Grease Trailer

This is the classic story of when Girl meets boy and falls in love,  in a Musical Format. There's  plenty of signing, dancing and probably slightly inappropriate hip shaking,  especially for a film made in the 70s.

The Story follows the aftermath of a Summer romance between Sandra D and Danny Zuko.
Sandra D The PREPPY DO GOODER was due to return  to Australia after the summer holidays,  however she ending up staying in America and  enrolled in Rydel High  and was  happily surprised when she discovered she was in the same school as the BAD BOY Danny zuko.

Unaware of Danny's Bad boy reputation she BLURTS her heart out to anyone who'd listen.  Danny is also pretty Keen on her  as well (In a more Bad boy way of course). And this was the basis of the FIRST SONG of the show.

When Sandra finally get's to meet Danny she discovers he is a totally  DIFFERENT PERSON and isn't too pleased about his bad boy attitude. Sandra then decides to try and move on.  Danny is  regretful and tries to win her back. The film follows Danny's MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS of trying to win Sandra back and failing at every hurdle.

After coming to the end of the school year and reviewing her on and off relationship with Danny Sandy figures  she'll grow a BACKBONE and get her MAN.
